So I should be doing work right now, but I'm procrastinating. I'm almost done with doing the job I hate. I am about to start on the job I really like, the actual writing of documents. I have a writers block though. My document is supposed to be medium level. It's for higher-ups in the company so it can't sound dumb.
Anyway, enough about work. I reserved Rod and my wedding date. We are getting married on July 21st, 2007 at Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA at 10AM in the morning. For all of our friends here in Virginia, we're going to have a reception back here. It probably will be a fun backyard bbq or something like that.
R0d's working on building a computer right now. Most of the parts have arrived. I think he's ordered everything, but he was talking about ording another hard drive. The 19in. monitor he ordered is sitting on our desk. That thing is HUGE compared to both our laptop screens. It's amazing how tiny it makes are other two computers look, and that's just the monitor.
My mom and I are going to start cake decorating together. She is going to give me lessons. I used to love it when I was a kid, but I haven't done it in a long time. I would really like to try to make my own wedding cake. Is that crazy? I have an idea of what I want and I think it would be really easy, but we'll see. I'll practice and then see what I can do. My mom and I are also going to take a class on wedding flower arranging. It sounds really neat. The class and my cake decorating lessons are my birthday gift.
I can't beleive my birthday is in 18 days. I'm going to be 22. WOW!! Where did the time go? I feel so old, yet so young. I don't know, I guess it's just a weird time of my life. I have accomplished so much and yet there is so much I still want to do. I really want to go to grad school. That is my next big step. Hopefully I can finish my application this weekend and send it on Saturday, or Monday. I can also take my application in and drop it off. We'll see how much I can get done tonight and tomorrow. Well, I better get going. I have some training to do and then I need to drive home in rush hour traffic. What fun!
