Busy Bee

I am so busy these days. This semester feels like it is going to kill me. I am working full time and busy with Practicum and School Counseling. There is so much work involved in both of these classes, but I just keep thinking it is all over April 30. I can make it. I just need to get my direct service hours for Practicum.

Rod and I are back out looking at houses again. This house hunting is such a tiresome process. I'm sick of it. I just want the perfect place to fall in our lap. I don't want to think about finances, condo fees, etc, etc, etc. The townhouse condo we went to see this last weekend was interesting. They are brand new and really pretty, but you would share an entry way with your neighbor. Also, your neighbor lives above you. From the outside it looks like a 4 story townhouse, but on the inside you have 2 stories and your neightbor has two stories. Weird! I think it may be overpriced for that. We are going to look at some other places next Monday. Hopefully we'll find one that we like that is close enough to a metro for Rod. There are a couple of townhouses that look huge, have a 2 car garage, and have a small backyard. The backyard would be nice for when we get a dog. We would have gone to look at the places this weekend, but we are going to be out of town. On Valentine's Day night, Rod and I are driving down to Blacksburg. We are going to be staying with one of my best friends and roommates from college. On Friday I have a graduate student conference to go to in Roanoke. Then we'll stay with my friend on Friday night too. On Saturday, we are going to drive down to North Carolina to visit with our friends. I can't wait to see them! She and I both celebrate our birthdays less than 3 weeks ago so we can celebrate together. They have two daughters who are the cutest little girls you will ever see. After we visit them we are going to go see Rod's brother and sister-in-law and their new puppy. We'll stay with them on Saturday night and then on Sunday night we'll drive home. Then Monday we'll go looking at houses. What a busy weekend, but I can't wait :) I'll update soon I hope, but that is what is going on in my life right now.
