LIFE

I feel like such an adult. I have a husband, a job, and soon a house. Life seems to be falling into place. I thought life would slow down a bit once I was out of school, but it seems to go faster. I can't believe it is almost November. I have no idea where October has gone. Every weekend we have been busy. The weeks are filled with work and going to see the house. It's incredible watching the house go up and seeing it come to life. Last night the house had drywall. It made it seem so real because you could actually see the rooms and how it will really look when it's finished. We were given a date of January 7th, but I hope it moves faster than that. I would be bummed if it takes that long. The two weeks before closing, we cannot go see the house. I think it's a weird rule, but I understand. They don't want us to spill anything or break anything so we can't go. On the nights we go to see the house we try to find a local restaurant (not a chain)to try. Last night we went to this interesting restaurant. I don't really know how to classify it, because I had braised chicken and Rod had a steak wrap. The food was delicious. I have never had such flavorful chicken. In the same little area there were three other restaurants that we want to try. We want to be able to take people to local restaurants when they come to visit instead of chain restaurants. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are great at finding cute little local places to eat when we visit them and we want to do the same. Anyway this is my life lately. It's filled with house stuff, work stuff, and family and friend stuff. Although it is very busy I am loving life right now and having a great time! I'll try to post again soon :)
